The departure day is getting closer. We are slowly but surely getting ready for the big day but there's still a lot to be done. Working as a teacher, I taught today my last class, so I will be able to spend 100% of my time to prepare the journey from now on. Akira was not allowed to travel to Bamako for his civil service, due to safety reasons (Malian coup d'état of March 2012). Consequently he is also helping to speed up our preparation.
